Your progress is yours to share — or not.

Group features work best when people can see how each other are doing. We think that only works if sharing is a choice, not a default.

What's opt-in, and off by default

Sharing your progress with your group is a setting you turn on — it starts off. If you never turn it on, nobody in your group ever sees your streak, your current day in a study, or how much you've completed.

What's never shared, regardless of that setting

Your notes, your quiz answers, and your prayer requests' private details are never visible to anyone but you, no matter what your sharing setting is. Turning progress sharing on shares your streak and completion — nothing else.

How group-level numbers work

When a leader sees aggregate numbers for their group — how many people are active this week, for example — we suppress that number if the group is too small for it to be meaningful without effectively identifying one specific person. A stat like "1 of 2 members active" tells a leader exactly which one person that is; we don't show numbers like that.

Your data, on your terms

You can export your own data or delete your account from Account settings. [Confirm exact current mechanics here before publishing — Build_Information describes this as already designed in, but the precise export format and delete-flow specifics should be verified against the real, current implementation rather than described from an addendum written before it was necessarily finished.]
